Hou Ji Ling Jiao Nang  is a new product of our factory, which is based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine and prepared by modern scientific technique. It is an effective remedy for throat diseases of theat type.

It is considered in traditional Chinese medicine that all throat disease are attributive to fire. Resulting from affection wind-feat or accumulation of feat in the viscwra. The common manifestation are redness, swelling, pain and suppurative over the throat ,accomplish with fever headache, dysphagia, productive cough, etc. In those causes by wind-warm evil and upward attack of liver-gallbladder fire, thre, there appears swelling, pain and tenderness over the check (known asmumps).Clearing away heat, eliminating toxic material, relieving swelling, dispersing stag-nation, easing the throat and alleviating pain are the chief therapeutic principals, and expelling exogenic evil,  reducing internal neat and lowering the chronic the asthenic fire as well. It is obviously effectual for cases of mumps, tonsillitis, acute and chronic pharyngitis with the above manifistatiom

The pharmacological studies showed that the capsules exerts a bacteriostatic effect on staphylococcus aureus, Hemolytic streptococcus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Diplococcus pneumoniae in vitro.
