DESCRIPTION. In the preparation, a large dosage of  Radix Codonopsis is used for invigorating qi and strengthening spleen; Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Poria, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Semen Nelumbinis  and  Fructus  Jujubae  are  used  to  enhance the  effect  of  invigorating  qi  and strengthening spleen; Percarpium Citri Reticulatae for regulating qi; Semen Ziziphi Spinosae, Arillus Longan, Semen Nelumbinis, Poria and Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae for nourishing heart and calming mental stete; Radix Polygalae and Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii for easing the heart. The above drugs used together serve  to invigorate the heart-qi and spleen-qi, so that the  mental state is calmed  and  palpitation,  insomnia,  anorexia,  anorexia  and  fatigue  are cured. The preparation possesses a better curative  effect for  the treatment on palpitation, insomnia  and amnesia due to insufficiency of  heart-qi and spleen-qi.

INGREDIENTS.This preparation is  combined by Dingzhi Bolus ( from Prescriptions of People Welfare Pharmacy ) and  Four  Mild Drugs  Decoction with Addition,  which possesses the actions of invigorating  qi,  strengthening  spleen,  nourishing  heart  and  calming mental  state,  and  is applicable  for  cases  with  insufficlency  of  heart-qi,  hypofunction  of  spleen  and  stomach manifested as palpitation, insomnia amnesia, dizziness, anorexia fatigue, etc.  

ACTIONS AND INDICATIONS. Nourish Heart, tranquilize mental state. Indicated for cases with neurasthenia, palpitation,  insomnia, tinnitus, dizziness.
